Museum of Tokajík Tragedy

The preserved site of the tragic events, the symbolic cemetery and the exhibition remind us of the cruelty of war on the civilian population.

In the village of Tokajík in the north-east of Slovakia is an exhibition titled Fascist Reprisals in Eastern Slovakia. Directly opposite the museum is a memorial dedicated to the victims of the fascist reprisals who were murdered during the burning of the village on 20 November 1944.
