Memorial of the Slovak National Uprising
In 1969, the Museum of the Slovak National Uprising was relocated to the architecturally imposing building of the Memorial of the Slovak National Uprising. Here, its museological, scientific, exhibition, and cultural-educational activities gained new possibilities of development. Moreover, in 1969, in the Memorial to the Slovak National Uprising, the museum opened its new permanent exhibition (the museum’s third exhibition in a row), the level of which reached European parameters in terms of content, technical, and artistic design in the unconventional space of the Memorial. The exhibition included four audiovisual programmes, unique in the museum industry at the time. This exhibition was a unique museum exhibition in Central Europe in the way of expression and communication with visitors. In the areas of museological, artistic, and technical design, it was even avant-garde.
