The Museum of the Slovak National Uprising, together with its partners, is pleased to announce the 2026 international conference Resistance in Time and Memory. The conference aims to present new research on the formation of resistance movements in Europe and worldwide during the Second World War, the international cooperation of resistance organisations, and the significance of preserving the memory of individuals and events associated with resistance activity.
The conference will be held at the Museum of the Slovak National Uprising (Kapitulská 23, Banská Bystrica), on 10 – 11 November 2026.
